Signe Gårsdal Lauridsen
Signe is a senior reward advisor and the founder of Pay Leadership, an independent advisory firm focused on the annual salary review, the structure behind it, and the conversations that turn pay decisions into engagement.
With more than a decade in compensation & benefits, building total reward functions in large international companies, she starts from a simple observation - the pay is the same however it is explained, the effect is not. She has trained managers throughout her career, from the structure the decisions rest on to the conversation itself - the point where the effect is decided.
Signe has run the salary review process end to end in several large international companies - from the salary increase budget, through calibration, to the pay differences that had to be handled. Her focus is the calibration, because it is where the same arguments come to carry the same weight whoever the manager is, and where each manager leaves with the reasoning the conversation will need. The process also gives the company a view that headcount reporting alone does not - where the money actually goes, and which pay differences cannot be explained.
Signe collaborates with The Reward Firm as a trusted alliance partner, contributing expertise in the annual salary review and in manager training to engagements where the process behind pay decisions is central to the scope.
